IPI Comics has worked long and hard to augment its business model with a crowdfunding component for many of its projects, allowing us to move a number of them forward on our schedule (yes, we love making comics and graphic novels that much!).
First cab off the rank is The Matron, an amazing story written by two Texas-based writers, Drew Edwards and David Bowles, masterfully illustrated by the incomparable Monica Gallagher (also Texas based), and coloured by the talented Harry Saxon (based in Greece). Editing will be done by our team in Australia (Jason Franks and Chris Sequeira). A truly international concern.
There is much to say about The Matron and to show–we have 4 completed sequential pages already completed from part 1 (with a lot of action) and other illustrations, and many rewards to offer those who choose to back us. We promise there will be stretch rewards as we pass our modest crowdfunding goal.
