IPI Comics has decided to add crowd-funding to its distribution channels, not replace.
We believe that there are fans out there that prefer to acquire comics in limited edition format, often with amazing add-ons, and from a business perspective, we also believe that some of our niche comic lines can get better traction and move forward on our queues with the aid of crowd-funding. Many comic publishers now do this, including the middling and big outfits.
We follow the usual path with this business configuration: we will crowd-fund most of our new projects, deliver at a set time after the launch is completed, and following that the comics and the graphic novels will be released world-wide. We are using KickStarter for this initial activity.
As an incentive (and something that excites us), each of our projects will have trading cards created, specific to the project, but will be numbered in sequence starting from our very first comic, Bristlemouth: A Cove Horror. There will be a varied number of cards for each comic series (usually 4-8), and there will be a very limited number printed. These will become collector items indeed. Those who follow our crowd-funding campaigns will get at least one, but there is the option to purchase the entire set associated with the campaign.
To say ‘Thank You’ to all our backers, we have created a Wall of Fame where backers who give permission are immortalised on our Wall. CLICK HERE to see the Wall.
This was our first campaign: The Matron 1. It was successfully funded through Kickstarter on the 17th March 2025 (including one stretch goal):

And another one! Matron 1 & 2 HAS NOW LAUNCHED!
THE MATRON Volumes 1 & 2—Slavic folk slasher set in Texas
After her double homicide, Zina Krenek finds her house acquired by force. With the ax and mask of the Matron, she sets out for revenge.

Here is another campaign recently completed:
HUMAN FLY and DRACULA: CONFLICT ACROSS CENTURIES
The Human Fly, through the ages, battling against the Lord of Darkness, Dracula.
This Kickstarter has just started and will finish on 13 September 2025. We are very excited by this campaign, headed by Chris Sequeira (editor), script by the legendary Jim Krueger (Earth X, Justice), art and ink by Peter Lawson, colours by Graeme Jackson, and lettering and design by Stephen Kok. We are excited by this, particularly the concept of the Human Fly having a lineage of predecessors, with this series four different Flys face the same foe: Dracula!
Here is the link to the Kickstarter campaign, if you want to get a late pledge in!
The Human Fly v Dracula 1 was successfully funded through Kickstarter on the 12th September 2025.
