IPI Comics is very pleased to announce the upcoming Kickstarter campaign, Frankenstein Monstrance Volume 1.
Victor Frankenstein is still alive.
A shadowy tech trillionaire whose technology is at the forefront of bioengineering, robotics, AI and surveillance. When a team of hapless journalists stumble across one of his rogue monsters, he will go to any lengths to prevent his secrets from coming to light. There is a war brewing and the only thing that’s certain is that both sides can use the spare body-parts.
Frankenstein Monstrance Volume 1 is a 50 page cyberpunk technothriller that drags the Frankenstein mythos into the age of drone warfare and surveillance capitalism, written by Jason Franks (The Sixsmiths, Left Hand Path, Faerie Apocalypse) and illustrated by Tam Nation (Ned Kelly, Two Hands).
The special first issue preview for this long-awaited book was short-listed for an Aurealis Award in 2024 and we promise this book has been worth the wait. Expected to launch in February 2027.
